Vanessa Williams is the Program Director at Friends of the Children – Stockton, bringing over a decade of experience serving children and families in Stockton and similar communities. With a strong background in child development and program management, she has led the design and oversight of educational and social service programs that promote academic, emotional, and social growth.

Her career includes leadership roles such as Director of Social Services and Lead Refugee Case Manager, where she managed teams, developed impactful initiatives, and built strong community partnerships. Passionate about advocacy, inclusion, mentorship, and holistic family support, Vanessa’s approach aligns closely with the mission of Friends of the Children – Stockton.

Deeply committed to community engagement, she works to create safe and enriching environments for youth, collaborating with diverse communities to implement innovative, results-driven strategies. Vanessa is dedicated to empowering the next generation and strengthening the Stockton community.
