Volunteer
Volunteer with Friends of the Children – Stockton
Help us create a vibrant, community-rooted space for the 16 youth we serve today—and the many more we will welcome soon.
As a new chapter, building our volunteer community is an important part of our first year. While our long-term, 1:1 professional mentoring is provided exclusively by our paid mentors (Friends), volunteers help us create the environment that allows youth to thrive.
From prepping the clubhouse, assisting with events, and organizing materials to supporting special projects, volunteers are integral to making this work possible.
Ways You Can Volunteer:
- Assist with community outreach, fairs, and events
- Help refresh and organize clubhouse spaces
- Support special projects (holiday drives, backpack builds, etc.)
- Provide organizational or administrative support
- Share your professional skills (design, tech, logistics, etc.)
Why Your Time Matters:
Your time strengthens the foundation we’re building in Stockton and helps ensure that as we enroll our second cohort, every child walks into a space ready for connection and growth.
